Legrandite - Zn₂(AsO₄)(OH)·H₂O

Habit: Bright yellow, wax yellow or colorless. Prismatic crystals, typically in sprays. Vitreous luster; transparent to translucent. White streak.

Environment: A secondary mineral in the oxidized zones of zinc/arsenic-bearing deposits.

Etymology: Named after M. Legrand, a Belgian mine manager who collected the first specimen.
